- August 29, 2025: Round 2 enrollment for the 2025-26 school year closes
Enrollment Timeline for the 2026-27 School Year
- December 2, 2025: Round 1 enrollment for the 2026-27 school year opens
- January 9, 2026: Round 1 enrollment window for the 2026-27 school year closes
- January 15, 2026: Round 2 enrollment for the 2026-27 school year opens
- January 20, 2026: Round 1 enrollment results sent to families
Enroll at Leawood Elementary
PRESCHOOL: Leawood Preschool has two classrooms. One classroom will be an AM (Monday- Friday, 8:00-11:00am) and a PM Monday-Friday, 12:00-3:00pm). The other classroom is a full day program (Monday-Friday, 8:am-3:00pm.) Each program is offered to 3 or 4 year olds. Tuition assistance will be available for qualified students. Children must be 3 years of age on or before October 1, 2023.
KINDERGARTEN: Leawood offers a five day free full day Kindergarten program, M-F, 7:45-2:35
Children must be 5 years of age on or before October 1, 2023.

Enrollment and Application opens on Monday, December 5, 2024. First Round of Choice Enrollment is December 5, 2024 to January 12, 2025. Choice Enrollment offers will go out at the end of January. All current and new students (including Preschool and Kindergarten) who wish to attend Leawood for the 2025-26 school year will need to enroll at this time. 5th grade students must use this process to indicate intention for which middle school you plan to attend. Remember if you have been choice enrolled at Leawood and wish to attend Ken Caryl, you’ll need to choice enroll there as well.
